The Spanish Grand Prix is complete, and you could argue it was slightly better than usual, although it will depend on who you ask… Ryan lost his bet with Helmut and there will be a Ferrari Trento taste test later this week! Carlos Sainz finished ahead of Fernando Alonso, so it is time to pop some bubbly in studio! It was a “meh” race on Sunday with untypical things dominating the talking points. Blue flags, Valtteri Bottas pretending he is disobeying team orders, Nikita Mazepin is a danger to himself and everyone else on the grid, Antonio Giovinazzi is extremely unlucky with one of the strangest tire (valve) failures you have ever seen, the Alpha Tauris had a weekend to forget (Yuki Tsunoda especially), and Alpine had a dreadful Sunday as both Esteban Ocon and Fernando Alonso raced directly backwards. The title fight between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen is still somewhat on, but Max will have to dig very deep to keep things close as Hamilton looks as confident as ever. Monaco is up next and we can’t wait and couldn’t be happier to get past Spain!
